Summer Choir Camp

The Basilica of Saint Mary is pleased to offer its first (7-sessions/3 hours each) Saint Gregory Children’s Choir Summer Camp for children ages 7 to 12 (no experience necessary).
Led by the Basilica’s Music Director, David Elliott, children will learn to sing chants and hymns along with the Ave Maria of Anton Bruckner to be sung for the 5PM Mass on the Solemnity of the Assumption on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Children will learn basic musicianship and spend time listening to, discussing, and learning about famous composers and compositions from the Middle Ages to the present day.
