2022 Advent Lessons and Carols at the Basilica of Saint Mary
Advent Lessons & Carols was performed at the Basilica on December 18, 2022. David Elliott, the parish’s music director, led the following choirs — Schola Cantorum, the Basilica of Saint Mary School Choir, and the Saint Gregory Children’s Choir. The event was a beautiful collection of carols and hymns, paired with reflective Scripture readings, that told the story of the coming of Christ, which helps deep our understanding of God’s message of love and redemption — the perfect way to usher in the Christmas season.
